Bernard Acoca is the founder of Incline Software, a company that is developing software to simplify sharing and managing your personal information across multiple social media sites. A graduate of Boston College, he has spent more than fifteen years in the software industry with companies such as IBM and Amazon.com. He also co-founded Infinite Capacity which was acquired by IBM in 1997.

He then founded Incline Software to simplify sharing personal information across multiple social media sites with simplicity and scalability through their new Personal Information Cloud platform called The Profile Project™.
In 2013, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Business First. Also featured in the Boston Business Journal’s article “Massachusetts’ Top Entrepreneurs of 2013.”
In 2011, Acoca gave his first TEDx talk at TEDxBoston entitled “Intellectual Property: What Is It and Why it Matters to You”. In 2009, he delivered a keynote speech at the MIT Sloan Digital Media Conference entitled “The Future of Digital Media”. He also co-hosted a roundtable discussion panel with Bill Gates on the future of cloud computing at the Park City Summit in 2013.
Zaxby’s CEO Paul Brown honored Acoca with the “2010 CEO Ripple of Hope Award” for Social Responsibility, which recognizes companies making a difference in the community. He is also a member of the Boston College Venture Mentoring Service and serves as an advisor to several startups including Stickybits and FlushTabs.
Acoca sits on the board of directors at both the Boston chapter and New England region of United Cerebral Palsy. He also founded The Profile Project™, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to spreading his message about leveraging technology for personal empowerment. He also founded The Women’s Entrepreneurial Network (WEN) to foster female entrepreneurs in Boston and was also on the executive committee for Women 2.
