The Riva Group, now consisted of the FM and a large RC plumbing and drainage company that had become insolvent, went on to acquire more companies and started to service other sectors of the construction industry such as engineering, radio-communications, electrical and electromechanical. The company grew rapidly; reaching more than 3,000 employees worldwide. Raffaele Riva Associates has grown from small businesses to large conglomerates by starting from a single premise.
